Women's Hormone Replacement Therapy
Balance Starts Here
Hormonal imbalance affects women of all ages—not just during menopause. Symptoms like mood swings, low energy, poor sleep, and weight changes often stem from fluctuating estrogen, progesterone, or testosterone levels.
Our women’s HRT program takes a holistic, numbers-based approach to bring your body back into balance, helping you feel like yourself again—only better.
Increased Bone Health
May support bone health.
Decreased Menopause Symptoms
Fewer hot flashes. Better sleep. A clearer mind. Less irritability, anxiety, and depression.
Increased Lean Muscle
Testosterone is important for increasing lean muscle mass, which can improve metabolic rate and weight maintenance.
Improved Sexual Function
TRT can significantly improve sexual response, desire, and comfort.

Hormone care for women, at every stage
Hormone questions don't only come up at menopause, and they aren't always easy to sort out on your own. Summit's women's HRT program takes a numbers-based approach: we measure first, talk it through with you, and only then discuss treatment. Symptoms that overlap with hormone changes can also come from thyroid function, iron, vitamin D or blood sugar, so the panel looks at those as well.
We care for women before, during and after menopause, and for women with estrogen, progesterone or testosterone imbalances at other points in life.
Signs that bring women to Summit
Some of the reasons women contact us:
-
Waking at night, often with night sweats
-
Hot flashes during the day
-
Feeling more anxious, irritable or flat than usual
-
Losing focus, or words that won't come
-
Less interest in sex, or discomfort with intimacy
-
Cycles that have become unpredictable
-
A changing shape at the waist without changes in habits
-
Hair that's thinning, or muscle tone that's slipping
Four steps from first call to follow-up
Step 1: A wide lab panel. Blood is drawn at a LabCorp site close to you. Along with estradiol, progesterone and testosterone, the panel measures DHEA, LH, FSH and prolactin, TSH and T4 for thyroid, A1c, a CBC, a comprehensive metabolic panel, lipids, vitamin D, iron, ferritin and folate.
Step 2: Time with a licensed provider. Your provider reviews each marker with you in the context of your symptoms, menstrual and health history, and any medications or supplements you use. The visit can take place at one of our offices or over telehealth.
Step 3: A plan made for you. When treatment is a good fit, your provider designs an individualized plan. It may use estrogen, progesterone and, if appropriate, testosterone, and bioidentical options are available. Everything you need, including instructions, is shipped to your home.
Step 4: Ongoing check-ins. Needs shift over time, especially through perimenopause. Repeat labs and conversations about how you're doing guide any changes, and our team answers questions between visits.
Three hormones, looked at together
Estrogen, progesterone and testosterone all play a role in women's health. Testosterone is often thought of as a "men's hormone," but women make it too, so we evaluate all three side by side.

Frequently asked questions
Do you treat perimenopause, or only menopause?
Both. Summit's women's hormone therapy is for women in perimenopause, menopause and post-menopause, as well as other estrogen, progesterone and testosterone imbalances.
What's included in the women's hormone panel?
The women's panel includes estradiol, progesterone, testosterone, DHEA, LH, FSH, prolactin and thyroid markers (TSH and T4), plus A1c, a CBC, a comprehensive metabolic panel, lipids, vitamin D, iron, ferritin and folate.
Do you offer bioidentical hormones?
Yes, bioidentical hormone options are available. Your provider will explain which options fit your labs, history and preferences.
Why would a woman take testosterone?
Women naturally produce testosterone, so it's one of the three hormones we evaluate along with estrogen and progesterone. Your provider will discuss whether it belongs in your plan based on your labs and symptoms.
Can I do women's HRT by telehealth?
Yes. Labs are drawn at a LabCorp location near you, your provider visit can happen by telehealth, and medication ships to your home.
